Evening

We went out to eat with friends to Texas Roadhouse.

Every so often the waiters and waitresses would line up and do 

a line dance.

V. and B. would stand on their seats to watch and start swaying their hips

and tapping their feet! It was so cute!

V. and I got had a mother-daughter pedi at the spa.

We needed to get our toes summer ready, and more importantly, ready for

the California sun!

That's right, we are heading to Cali. in a few days!!!!

Afternoon

Steve came hoem from shooting with 3 of these little boogers.

Ugh! Ticks! Gross!

Needless to say, I made him strip down in the garage

so I could check him before he went inside.

And we went thru all his gear and stuff in the truck to make

sure there weren't anymore hiding from us!

From now on, bug spray, bug spray and more bug spray!!!

The power went out.

 Good thing we have some candles in our Emergency Supply!

We thought the power would go out the night before, because there was a huge storm!

We think the power went out this night because we saw some

utility guys working on some power poles earlier.

They must have triggered something?

Maybe they were fixing problems the storm HAD cause?
