A bunch of parents and I helped the kids in V.'s class make Hot Air Balloons.

They wrapped yarn around balloons.

Then the parents put tons of glue on them and hung them upside down to dry.

Next week the kids will pop the balloons, but the yarn will hold it's shape.

Then they will attach little cups to the bottoms and hang them up so

they look like hot air balloons!

Afternoon

I tried a new recipe. Homemade Oatmeal Bread.

V. and I LOVED it!

  While I baked bread, V. enjoyed coloring the inside of a box she found.

All Day

Our first day at DisneyLand!

As well as my 30th birthday.

 Steve ran to Albertsons and got this cake for us to eat at our hotel.

V. and I got had a mother-daughter pedi at the spa.

We needed to get our toes summer ready, and more importantly, ready for

the California sun!

That's right, we are heading to Cali. in a few days!!!!

V's pre-school class took a field trip to a farm to

see some baby aniamls, learn about animals,

and go on a horse-drawn wagon ride.

It was a lot of fun!

V. just got a trim.

I added layers and some red and blond highlights.

We enjoyed some sunshine and went for a walk at Jensen's Grove.

V. picked up a ton of rocks and put them in her jacket pockets.

{Which is why her jacket looks baggy in the front.}
